Relapse Prevention Group Therapy can help you build confidence, get comfortable with asking for help, work through feelings of shame and guilt, establish a peer group for accountability which will decrease feelings of loneliness and isolation, learn anger management and communication skills which will improve your relationships, allow you to enjoy work again and develop a plan to manage cravings/thoughts of using/drinking to prevent relapse.  

People who receive professional substance use disorder counseling and participate regularly in support programs reduce their risk of relapse.
